You can register in person when visiting our library or online by filling in the online form.
Registering in person
Adults and young people from the age of 15 must present an ID document with a photo and sign the electronic registration form when registering. By signing the registration form, you undertake to follow the Rules of Business of the Valvasor Library Krško when visiting the library and when using library materials. The membership fee is specified in the price list. You can borrow the material already on the day of registration.
Children up to the age of 15 can register in the library only in the presence of a parent or guardian, who presents their personal document and signs the electronic registration form.
Upon registration, you will receive your membership card, which is non-transferable and must be presented each time you borrow material.
Online registration
You can also registrate online by filling in the electronic application form.
Services that you can access based on online registration:
- use of e-resources with remote access (EBSCOhost, Britannica);
- renting e-books on the web portal Biblos;
- renting of audio books in the Slovenian language in the mobile application Audibook;
- access to the Press Reader e-collection, which includes 7,5000 world newspapers, including some Slovenian ones namely Dnevnik, Nedeljski dnevnik, Večer;
- access to the Kanopy e-collection with a rich and high-quality selection of international films and documentaries.
Full membership in the library and thus access to all services can only be obtained by visiting any unit of our library, by presenting an identity document, signing the electronic registration form and settling the membership according to the valid price list. Upon your visit you will also receive your membership card.
